Job Description
Odyssey Elevators is India’s First Electric Circular Home Elevator brand, offering cutting-edge design, superior engineering, and a premium customer experience for modern homes, villas, and luxury residences.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive strategic growth, manage key client accounts, and strengthen architect/partner relationships responsibilities.
Role Overview
The BDM will manage high-value clients, architects, and channel partners, ensuring a seamless
journey from enquiry to order closure. All leads will be provided internally through marketing,
exhibitions, referrals, and partner networks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Management & Sales Closing
- Handle all inbound inquiries generated through marketing, events, and partners.
- Conduct detailed client consultations and recommend suitable elevator models (NOVA, ORBIT, APEX, SPEC).
- Present technical details and design options in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
- Prepare proposals, BOQs, commercial offers, and negotiate terms.
- Drive leads toward final closure and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
2. Architect & Channel Partner Relations
- Manage interactions with architects, builders, and interior designers.
- Provide brochures, CAD files, elevator specs, and pricing support.
- Conduct scheduled presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product demos.
- Strengthen long-term partner relationships to ensure repeat business (no hunting for new partners).
3. Project Coordination
- Coordinate site surveys, technical inspections, and design approvals with internal teams.
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and technical feasibility.
- Monitor project timelines and keep clients informed (communication only, no field execution work).
4. Business Growth & Reporting
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing to support strategic decisions.
- Provide weekly sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecast planning to management.
- Represent the brand at exhibitions, events, architect meetups, and premium homeowner gatherings.
5. Customer Experience
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and brand representation.
- Ensure a premium, seamless customer journey from enquiry to closure.
- Build long-term relationships and encourage referrals.
Key Skills Required
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Ability to handle high-value/premium clients
- Understanding of technical products (training provided)
- Experience in luxury product sales, elevators, interiors, or real estate
- Strategic thinking & problem-solving ability
- CRM proficiency and strong follow-up discipline
- Team coordination and leadership mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 4–10 years of experience in business development or key account management
- Elevator, home automation, interior, or luxury real estate experience preferred
